  • Conducted in-depth analysis of mainstream LCA database systems and guidelines (Simapro, ILCD, GaBi); assessed interoperability and developed integration pathways for China's national LCA database (Tiangong). Delivered findings in a technical presentation to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
  • Contributed to the update of the GHG Protocol Scope 2 guidance: evaluated alignment with national electricity accounting methodologies, identified methodological differences, and authored an acceptance and impact assessment report on implications for corporate carbon inventories, net-zero pathways, and ESG disclosures.

  • Analyzed 200+ Chinese environmental policies on waste management/cleaner production/circular economy; developed 10,000-word report directly applied in ERM's client training program Zero-Waste Factory Construction Guidelines.
  • Upgraded conference carbon calculator by benchmarking EPA/DEFRA tools, implementing collaborative accounting module and Python-driven activity classifier; developed Asia-Pacific emission factors through literature review (132 parameters, 6 scenarios).
  • Engaged in the 2023 Carbon Inventory Project for Langhua Pharmaceutical Group. Established an Excel–Power BI automated data processing workflow for emission reduction pathway visualization. Assisted in achieving ISO 14064-1 certification.

China Anti-Bird Window Collision Action Alliance Project

  • Served as the Regional Leader for Northwestern China in domestic anti-bird investigation project, organizing coordination meetings among 200+ volunteers
  • Actively promoted public awareness of bird collision issues via community engagement and strategic advertising on social media, established and maintained a strong connection with other bird conservation institutions, including the American Bird Conservancy (ABC) and the Fatal Light Awareness Program (FLAP) in Canada
  • Developing automation model for reported bird collision data collection and analyzing
  • Authored the 2023 National Bird Strike Survey Annual Report by predominant media outlets as the Chief Editor

Songhua Dam Watershed Management Project in Kunming, Yunnan, China

  • Conducted month-long field investigation and community interviewing in the Songhua Dam area, assessing the green economic development potential and residents' participation willingness within 629.8 square kilometers covering 43 villages
  • Participated in routine district level government meetings and helped to organize the networks for document and data sharing across different government departments, forming development policy matrix for the Songhua Dam Basin
  • Delivered a 60,000-word report, "Study on the Green Development Policy System and Institutional Mechanism of the Songhua Dam Basin," submitted to the government of Panlong District, Kunming
